  • FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
  • P76 LEYLAND DISCS TO CAPRI 4 AND 6 CYLINDER STUB AXLES. MK1 & MK2 CORTINA STUB AXLES
  • Kit Contains: 
  • 1 off Bolt Kit 
  • 2 off Seal Adaptors 
  • 2 off Bearing Adaptor Sleeve Extensions 
  • 2 off Caliper Bracket 
  • 2 off DBNUT 
  • 2 off Seals07 
  • The kit contains inner wheel bearing and oil seal adaptor, outer wheel bearing adaptor, caliper mounting bracket, bolts, washers and machined castellated nuts. Standard Leyland bearings and seals are used. 
  • Remove Ford brakes and clean stub, using oxy torch, heat inner adaptor. Have adaptor sitting on fire brick with thin end to brick. When heating, do not heat to red hot, only until colour change occurs, fit quickly, to stub as it is a shrink fit. Hold into position until cooled. Push on outer wheel bearing adaptor. 
  • Fit caliper adaptors (head of bolts face disc.) Wash out disc and bearings, repack with disc brake grease. Fit disc using supplied nut. Use new split pin. Fit calipers and connect pipes. 
  • Suggestions: To save space uses an HQ-HJ-HX Holden master cylinder. Connect rear brakes with 13/16 rear wheel cylinder size and a VH 40 booster to front brakes only.

P76 DISC & CAL TO CAPRI & ESCORT.

THIS WILL ALLOW THE FITTING OF LARGE VENTILATED FORD PATTERN DISC WITH HQ-WB PBR CAST IRON CALIPERS TO THE FRONT END OF YOU CAPRI OR ESCORT.

THE P76 DISC WILL ALSO NARROW THE TRACK OF MOST CARS, WHICH IS PERFECT FOR VERY LOW CARS.

This is a Fitting kit only! Does not include disc or calipers.
